The Challenge

Brigette Barrager is an award-winning children’s author and illustrator whose work was scattered across the internet with no central home. She had no place where she controlled her own narrative, no single destination that told her story in her voice, with her aesthetic, presenting her body of work the way she wanted it seen.

The Partnership

Brigette and I worked closely to articulate what success would look like, examining illustrator brands worldwide to understand what would house her colourful, playful work authentically. The collaboration extended through brand identity, website development, and email marketing setup

The Approach

The logo needed to be hand-lettered, a particular challenge when working with an illustrator. We went through five rounds of collaborative hand-sketches, with Brigette contributing the signature cat elements. The result is a brand that tells her story genuinely: playful, warm, distinctively hers.

Her portfolio presents work chronologically with process visible alongside finished pieces, telling the story of craft and dedication that underlies the colourful surfaces.
